Jesus spoke much about money and wealth. The parable of the shrewd manager is difficult to understand fully and has been interpreted in many ways… but the main thrust is clear… ‘You cannot serve both God and money’. Wealth is not bad in itself, but when it becomes master of our life – priorities are out of kilter.

In these final days of Advent, the last minute shopping and the rush to to tick everything off the “to do” list can give pause for reflection on the real priorities in life and love… and we all know that they are things that money cannot buy.
